Bosrah

This is the view from my seat in the security convoy. You can see through the window some destroyed Iraqi tanks. It took 3 and 1/2 hours to drive from Tallil to Bosrah, 3/4 of the time we were traveling cross country through the desert.

This is my home for the next year. The big shelf looking thing in the back ground is my bunker, my trailer is protected all around with sand bags. The bunker is mostly extra protection from falling objects.

And this is the view from my front door looking left, looking right looks just like it, and looking straight ahead about 4 ft. away, is my neighbors door. We each have our own quarters, and the food is great. I told your mom " we tried to eat at places like this once a week". We each have our own radios to check in after shelling, so we don't even have to leave our hooch, ( that is what they call our room). I miss you guys.

Love ya,

Dad

your room looks really bare, can you put stuff on the walls. Do you need us to send you anything for that. Posters, pictures anything.
